Mom's groups on the South Shore?
Ok – so today, I am officially a SAHM :
I also have NO friends (that aren’t DH’s) We have been in the area for 2 years, but I have spent the whole time travelling for work and working remotely, I haven’t really met anyone.
Are there any mom’s groups that won’t look at me like I have 8 heads for bringing baby in a carrier, or using CD’s (I have been going to a drop in and have gotten some really odd reactions – kinda off putting).
I’d really like to meet some like minded mamas!

I’m not on the South Shore, I’m in East Falmouth, but I’m in the same boat. We just moved here and I know exactly zero people. The cape might be a bit far for you though!

I’m in East Bridgewater…not sure where you’re at, but I’m in a similar boat. I really have only 1 friend who shares my beliefs….my other “friends” do not, so it’s hard!!! I feel ya…..
Just to clarify– the Plymouth Holistic List that Jessica linked isn’t an official santioned Holistic Moms Networkâ„¢ list– it’s run by another MDC mom (also named Jess!). We have informal play groups every so often that one of us will host, and there’s a lot of mail traffic on the list about various resources.
Another mom who’s on the list *is* in the process of getting an official chapter of the Holistic Moms Network going again, though, and she does post all her updates on the list.
Hello, Congrats on your baby boy and welcome! I am a little more south of you…in Wareham….so not south shore but rather southcoast…confusing.
Anyway, there are likeminded folk all over southeastern mass!

Again, welcome! Oh, and I plan on hosting a bunch of informal meetups at my house at some point. I’ll post when I have a better idea, several of my clients are interested in this.
